Drought causes visual and physiological damage in tomatoes &

SuperFifty® Prime is a tool to protect the crop from drought induced damage.

Results:


  • Drought stress mitigation in tomatoes: up to 10 days protection from drought with SuperFifty® Prime.
  • Drought induced ROS accumulation: H2O2 levels reduced by ~22%.
  • Drought induced ion leakage: 50% lower in SuperFifty® Prime pre-treated tomato plants.
  • Water content in leaves: 54% higher in SuperFifty® Prime pre-treated tomato plants.

(ROSI)

SuperFifty® Prime based priming technology improves yield potential & delivers a strong ROSI for crop growers.


Even in well managed agricultural production systems, crops rarely reach their genetic yield potential and typically only reach 70-75% of their maximum. Applying SuperFifty® Prime at critical growth stages, prior to fruit set and at early fruit sizing is proven to improve fruit-set and enhance reproductive output in crops.


In trials conducted by academic partners and independent consultants, an average of 14% increase in yield was obtained from a variety of crops in different regions using SuperFifty® Prime, providing the grower with a strong return on sustainable investment (ROSI).


Table 1 below demonstrates the yield increases in well managed crop production systems by adopting SuperFifty® Prime based priming technology.
